Our spiritual family in Peru has asked for our help to fund a holiday celebration called La Chocolatada for children in their villages. During this Indigenous celebration held in December, children receive sweets, hot chocolate, and a gift. Due to limited resources and rising costs, these celebrations have become less common because the villagers cannot afford them, leaving the children with little or even no holiday celebrations or gifts. Last year, through your generosity, we raised enough money to sponsor La Chocolatada in one village. This year, four villages asked the Luz Sagrada community to support La Chocolatada, allowing us to bring holiday joy to over 250 impoverished children.
